Sometimes when I write a blog I use the words "Love" or "Hearts" a lot. I decided that I needed to add a note explaining what the word "Love" means to me on that particular entry. Sometimes Love may really mean Service, or Thanksgiving, or just Love. At the end of my entries starting November 5 2009, if it is needed I will add my definition for day. Enjoy!
Why all the Hearts?
I have been finding hearts in some fun places for a long time . Actually I think it started when Samuel and I took our first cruise. We were shopping and I saw a huge heart shaped diamond. Of course we could not afford it and so it remains a dream. But, soon after that, Samuel Sr. started bringing me heart shaped rocks when ever he would see one. After many years of collecting these pictures I decided to write my sweet husband a book of "Love Dedication." They are inspired by the composition of the heart and sometimes it's location. I hope that you will enjoy reading my blog and maybe even be inspired to share the love a little. I have collected hundreds of pictures so return often. At the end of some titles you will find "(ftb)" that indicates that the quote and pictures are "From The Book" I wrote for My husband Samuel.
When Samuel and I were married in 1979, I decide that I wanted to start a collection that reflected me and my interests. I thought long and hard and decided that nativities would be it! I bought my first nativity that first Christmas together with the intent of getting a new set each following year. Well, somehow that once-a-year purchase turned into several purchases every year and hundreds of sets. I just love them, and whenever I see a nativity I think of the many great gifts that I have been given and from where they came. I think about gifts I have that I could share with the Christ child and the living adult Christ. I hope that through this blog, you will get the sure feeling that it is Heavenly Father that I am worshiping and His Son Jesus Christ. I do love Them and am so grateful that Heavenly Father sent His Son to us to show us the way back home. I hope you enjoy this "Fuller" collection of nativities from around the world.
